This is the first open source multi-technology (native vst, ladspa, dssi) host in linux. It will mainly host a chain of plugins per instance, publishing jack, alsa and alsa_seq ports in order to be connected in your main stream flow. it still have some very good features that makes it a first class host.

Jost is a native host, it won’t wrap your windows dlls !

Le premier hôte multi-technologies (VST natif, LADSPA, DSSI) open source sous Linux, par Lucio Asnaghi (kRAkEn/gORe).
Il utilise le framework JUCE (dans le Bottin).

Jost est le premier hôte multi-technologies (VST natif, LADSPA, DSSI) open source sous Linux.
Il permet principalement d'accueillir une chaîne de plugins par instance, en fournissant des ports Jack, alsa ou alsa_seq et d'être ainsi connecté à votre principal flux audio.
Il dispose par ailleurs de très bonnes fonctionnalités qui en fait un hôte de 1ère classe.
Jost est un hôte natif, il ne perturbera pas vos fenêtres DLL !
