🕶️ A view of its UI (v. 4.5.5, on my Linux PC) showing the general settings menu (the game icons are in the launch menu, not in this screenshot), with one section dedicated to the AppImage installation directory, another to updating them (detection options), another for file management, and a final one for naming conventions.

📜️ "A libre management tool for AppImage" 📜️
What is Gear Lever
Gear Lever is a free and open-source AppImage manager for Linux that makes it easy to install, organize, and manage AppImages.
While AppImages offer a convenient, portable way to run applications across different Linux distributions without installation, managing multiple AppImage files can quickly become cumbersome. Each AppImage must be manually executed, lacks automatic integration with your application menu, and updates must be tracked manually.
Gear Lever addresses these issues by providing a centralized hub for all your AppImages.
Features
✅️ Integrate AppImages into your app menu with just one click
✅️ Drag and drop files directly from your file manager
✅️ Keep all the AppImages organized in a custom folder
✅️ Open new AppImages directly with Gear lever
✅️ Manage updates: keep older versions installed or replace them with the latest release
✅️ Save CLI apps with their executable name automatically
✅️ Modern and Fresh UI
