Inside a manor frozen in time, a vampire patiently waits for the right moment to rise again. The time has come, and it's up to you - his not so faithful servant - to help him make the spell that will bring humanity to an end.
How to play
This is a point and click game. Use your mouse to control the character.
Left click: walk to, or perform action indicated by the cursor icon (take, talk, look, use)
Right click: look at hotspot
Inventory: left click to use, right click to look. Right click with a selected object will deselect it.
Note on video: the game will start full screen. You can change to windowed in the options. When you do, the window will be 960x540, but if you select free cursor you can resize it freely.
Note on text: the game will start with both voice and subtitles, and the text will auto-advance. If you wish the game to wait for your input to go on, you have to disable voice in the options selecting text only, wait for click.

No Rest for the Wicked est un pointer-et-cliquer d'aventure gratuit sur un ton humoristique dans lequel un vampire attend patiemment le bon moment pour ressusciter dans son manoir figé dans le temps. Le moment est venu, et c'est à vous, son serviteur le moins fidèle, de l'aider à lancer le sort qui mettra fin à l'humanité. Il a été conçu en 14 jours à l'occasion du Adventure Jam 2023.

Comment jouer
Il s'agit d'un point and click. Utilisez votre souris pour contrôler le personnage.
Clic gauche : marcher vers, ou effectuer l'action indiquée par l'icône du curseur (prendre, parler, regarder, utiliser)
Clic droit : regarder le secteur sensible.
Inventaire : clic gauche pour utiliser, clic droit pour regarder. Un clic droit sur un objet sélectionné le désélectionne.
Note sur la vidéo : le jeu démarre en plein écran. Vous pouvez passer en mode fenêtré dans les options. Dans ce cas, la fenêtre sera de 960x540, mais si vous sélectionnez le curseur libre, vous pourrez la redimensionner librement.
Note sur le texte : le jeu démarre avec la voix et les sous-titres, et le texte avance automatiquement. Si vous souhaitez que le jeu attende votre entrée pour continuer, vous devez désactiver la voix dans les options en sélectionnant text only, wait for click.

• Rendez son binaire exécutable (clic droit sous votre gestionnaire de fichier) et cliquez dessus, ou dans son répertoire racine lancez : $ ./NR4TW
• 📜️ Préambule :
⚬ 1ere édition : le 29 Décembre 2024 sous Manjaro. Par : goupildb. ⏱️ Durée du test : 20 minutes. 🎯️ Objectif : Initialisation de l'entrée, tests et premières impressions.
• 🫕️ Installation :
▸ (✔ v. 20240214) Binaire classique : FONCTIONNEL.
🟢️ Il est très facile à installer et à lancer grâce au binaire fourni.
• 🌻️ Premières impressions :
⚪️ Je n'ai testé que le début du jeu (env 20 minutes).
🟢️ Il est possible de le passer en fenêtré.
🟢️ Les paroles sont en anglais, néanmoins il bénéficie d'une bonne traduction en Français.
🟢️ Les énigmes ne sont pas trop dures (du moins à ce stade de mon avancement) et le jeu est plein d'humour noir.
